Welcome to Yurek ADR! My name is Rachel Yurek and I've been a licensed attorney since 2010. Starting my legal career as a law clerk for a family law judge gave me a unique perspective to view disputes with a focus on reaching a resolution in the child's best interest, as a judge would, rather than as a zealous advocate for an individual client's wishes.

I maintain my law license in Arkansas and will obtain Texas family mediation certification in 2023 to expand my dispute resolution offerings. In the coming months, Yurek ADR will offer private mediation services and family mediation through the Tarrant County Family Courts. Helping families navigate through high-conflict situations and reach a mutual decision that’s truly in the best interest of the child(ren) involved is always preferable to litigation.

For parties who wish to have a final and binding resolution of their dispute, I also offer arbitration services. I have over a decade of experience in labor-management relations, including collective bargaining agreement interpretation, negotiation, and drafting. As a Carrier member for a Class I railroad, I participated in hundreds of arbitrations and am familiar with both National Railroad Adjustment Board (NRAB) and Public Law Board (PLB) proceedings through the National Mediation Board (NMB).

Native Arkansan living in Fort Worth, Texas, and raising three boys with my husband, Doug. Twin mom, community volunteer, SEC football lover, crossword puzzle enthusiast, unwitting monster truck fan.
